~After the cleaning, before the doctor visit. Preston was bawling. He didn't want her to die.~On Monday morning, Princess tripped down a stair (holding nothing in her arms and with no obstacles in her way) and hit the corner of a banister, which resulted in a lot of blood, tears and three stitches. At least it was a clean cut and came together quite nicely. See, there's a bright side to everything.
~She really didn't appreciate anyone touching it. Daddy wasn't an exception.~
~The dose of Benadryl kicks in.~
~We were so hoping the drugs would keep her asleep through the proceedure, but no such luck.~

All I'm going to ask for in William's life is that he inherits my coordination instead of his father's. His three older siblings had no such luck.

lol on the last sentance, I think from experience, you know my children and me have my cordination. lol
So sad, but oh so cute, and good thing it happened when young, so the scar will be tiny when she gets older. not that it matters!:D

Bummer! Its so hard when your babies get hurt, sorry you had to deal with blood, and the close up of her stitched both grossed me out and was so cool at the same time!! ha ha. I feel your pain, 2Sundays ago, Elle broke her elbow RIGHT before church, and Jake was in Wyoming, so it was no fun at the ER with all the kids. I am going to update my blog soon, complete with pictures of the purple cast that goes almost all the way up to her shoulder!

Well, she had to do SOMETHING to get all the attention off that sweet new baby brother in her life- a girls got to do what a girls got to do! She was a perfect drama queen through the whole thing too! She definitly keeps you on your toes!!
The poor thing. What concerns me though, is that you paused to take a picture before rushing her to the ER! ;-)
