I'm so lame. Seriously. Look at what my family got for Easter dinner. Yes, we had been traveling ALL day, but still, a frozen $1 pizza? Sad.
One of the many wonderful things about having little kids, is that they could care less. Seriously, they were thrilled with the pizza. They were just so ecstatic to be out of the car and were still on their little adrenaline rushes from the egg/basket hunt. We were worried that the Easter Bunny wouldn't have left anything, since we were gone, but he came through in the end (thanks Vance). Don't judge them on their rough appearance. Blame their mother.

Here's a little tidbit for you. While egg hunting, Preston was having a case of guys eyes. Trevor and I had spotted one of the eggs and were pointing him in the right direction. We told him to look by the phone and he hopped on the counter and searched and searched, but it was fruitless. We were dying, and the picture shows why. It was literally at his eye level. I, of course, had the camera and took a picture of his bewildered face. He just couldn't understand just what was so hysterical. Maybe it wasn't even that funny, but we were pretty tired.
I think Carson "won" the egg hunt. He seemed to find them seconds before Preston could. Abby was in the other room raiding their baskets for more candy. I couldn't get her to eat dinner later. She was full from all the chocolate. Don't judge my parenting skills.
So, it was a decent Easter, just not much to jump and shout about.

You are so funny! And sounds like you are wanting to be judged! :) But you are a great mother! I hope you had a decent Easter! I MISS YOU! Get in your car and come HERE next time!
that is a funny story, and maybe I am too tired too. Our Easter wasn't that grand either, but not cuz we went anywhere, just lazzzzy!!!!
Welcome back! Seems like a fun easter to me. :) Love the picture of Preston.

Hey, it looked like they loved all of it including the chocolate! Cute, cute!
Glad the easter bunny found you way over in California! Getting so close to seeing you guys...its FABULOUS! Miss you! Give the kiddos kisses from Aunt Holly, Kylie and Sydney too!
Pizza on Easter sounds great - maybe I will do that next year.
you got the important stuff in, chocolate, so who cares about the well balanced, hours to prepare meal!
I can't believe how big Abby is!
I love that cheap frozen pizza.
I lived off those cracker pizzas when I was pregnant with Nate. Your photo kinda makes me miss them.
Preston's guys eyes are hilarious. Proof it starts early!
That is great! I love the picture with Preston. Classic!
My kids ate all their candy in 1 day - they wouldn't have eaten a nice dinner even it I went to the trouble.
No one's judging you darlin'. I'm right there with you half the time.
I love the dinner - we were traveling most of this weekend to, so I am sad to say there were a few meals warmed up!
