Can You Hear the Angels Sing?

It's the First Day of School Eve and I'm anxiously laying out clothes and packing backpacks and making lunches. I've read so many blogs lately of kind, loving, mothers who are devastated to let go of their children all day long. They wonder what they will do all day without little bodies to feed and play with. The summer went too fast they say. They'll miss their little buddies and each wipe away a tear of homesickness for their beloved offspring. As for me...the little choir of angels in my head, singing their "hallelujahs", are growing louder and louder by the hour. Freedom in T-minus ten hours and twenty minutes...

You make me laugh!

I swear the teachers planned our schedule this way this year. We send them for a week, then they leave them home for 3 days... I can't wait for them to go back!

They need the space from one another as much as I need the space from them!

Let me be clear ... I would be *much* more excited about school starting if BOTH Natalie and Bea were going. As it is now, Bea follows me around all day saying, "I not know what I should do." And Dexter isn't really old enough to play, at least the way Bea wants him to. So I'm counting down to *next* September! :)
