In actuality, we felt bad that everyone drove all the way to our house for such a lame party. Frankly, we were pretty sure Abby wouldn't know or care if we threw a big ol' hoopla shin-dig-a-poloosa for her 2nd birthday. In the spirit of our poor attitude about big parties for recipients who will never remember the day, we had all the Aunties, Uncles and Cousins over for simple cake and ice cream. And wouldn't you know, the kids had fun despite the lack of dinner, games and goody bags. I feel a tradition coming on and it looks like a lot less work for me. I'm a selfish git.
~Getting a little help from Avery~Holding her baby from Aunite Chelsea and family~
~1st attempt with mucho help from Jakey~2nd attempt, going through the motions, unaware of Jakey's assistance again~
~She ate up all the applause for "not" blowing out her candles~A couple of Aunties and Uncles~
~She kept striking a pose for Torri~
~Still posing~
~Do you think she's praying for more cake?~Auntie Gina and Abby telling Torri what they really think~
~Had to add this one of the dancing queen...I loved her Ugs~
Thanks for coming everyone!

Too cute, I think she is praying for cake for Aunt Becky.
Looks like great fun!
Cake, ice cream, presents and family? Who needs more than that? Sounds like a winner to me!
I'm all about simplicity. Every single time. Less stress = more fun.
I am anti-goody-bag, so I say "good for you!"
Wish I could've been there :( Looks like a ton o' fun! Love and miss y'all! Give Abby a big birthday kiss for me. MUAH!
