First Haircut

I'm feeling like this blog has been Preston/William heavy lately. I promise to remedy that...right after this post.

Will got his first haircut last night. The fine, blond, wisps were driving me batty. It's not like he has a lot of hair, it's just growing in two places, on top of his head and over his ears. So I HAD to trim him up a bit, if only for my own sanity.

~Pudge's "before" shots.~

At first he was really enjoying himself. He would laugh and laugh at the clipper noise and at Daddy (who was making silly faces). He was chewing on the clipper cord and flapping his arms in excitement. Then some lady (who will remain nameless to protect the innocent) decided that she wanted to try to put the top into a little pony, with a small rubber band, before she cut it off. William didn't appreciate it. I think it had something to do with all the pulling. I can't say for sure. He suffered through the rest...ponyless I might add. I'm not a monster.

~The "during" shots taken mainly by Preston. I was impressed with his mad photog skills.~

After it was all said and done, we were all happy with the results. Mommy thinks she has the cutest little baby on the block and William was pretty pleased with to outcome, too. Although, his joyfulness might have been because it was all over. We'll never know.

He is just the cutest, pudgiest and smiley baby ever. I love the spike hairdo.

Well done Preston on taking the pictures. I think you did a real good Job.

And here I am willing Tilda's to grow. She has about 10 hairs total behind her ears that are from birth and they are like 3 inches long. The rest are SHORT.

He is so FAT! I wanna squish him, but I fear I would not be able to pick him up. So cute!
