It's Been 9 Months 7 Hours And 37 Minutes

Will is still awesome...except at night. He's teething again. Out of all my kids, his teething adventures have been the most trying. He turns from my sweet, always content, pudge boy into Jekyll/Hyde baby. While everyone was here, (I'm still planning a D-land post so hang tight) I think my longest stretch of continuous sleep was 3 hours. Not kidding. Thus, the real reason I'm so tired. There was one night (the night before D-land) where I saw him every hour of the night. His top left (his left, my right) tooth came in a week ago Thursday and it's twin (his right, my left) has yet to show his face. I can see the white ridges just beneath his transparent gums, but nothing to show for it except a runny nose, a fussy boy, and enough drool to fill my bathtub. He's literally soaked all day long. So, I'm sending a message to that stubborn little baby tooth. Break through now or I won't play nice when it's time for you to be pulled.

~Drooly Droolerson. There were no clean bibs this night. We had gone through them all.~

Other than that, he still plugging along. He's enjoying plenty of "tummy time" and enjoys spinning on his belly. He can't move forward yet and has only moved backwards a couple of times, but as this is Trevor's last baby (I haven't conceded yet), we're not going to rush any milestones like crawling and walking. He'll figure it out sooner or later, no need to rush these things.

He still cries when he runs out of formula in his bottle, but is enjoying big people food so much it almost makes up for it. I've never seen him pass up anything in a baby jar, or pieces of french fry or hamburger bun when we're out on the town. He has a deep appreciation for food that I take great pride in.

Will also had his first "real" outing at the beach. His first official trip to the beach was for our Christmas picture, but as I was running from one end of Corona Del Mar to the other, yelling at the kids to "look at mommy" and "stand still or so help me I will ground you for a month", he didn't get to experience it like a first timer should. I was actually surprised on how well he tolerated the sand. Maybe a little too much. Take a look.

We all still enjoy getting those big belly laughs out of him and never miss an opportunity to try to persuade him to smile. It's usually pretty easy. We love our little buddy so much and get such a kick out of watching him grow, but as for me, I'm desperately going to cling onto these last 3 months of "babyhood".

Love , love those cheeks, and that smile, and those blue, blue eyes!! It doesn't matter how old he is Brenda, you can still call him your "baby".
