They're gone. I'm glad. I love my kids. I love being a mom. I know it's my calling in life to be their mother...however...it's been a long summer. I welcome the routine of school days with open arms.
Preston is a pro. He went through the motions of picture taking, room finding and waking up two hours earlier than necessary in stride.
Carson is my Carson. Nervous. Negative. Non-communicative. I love the picture of his wringing hands, but it does break my heart a bit to know he really gets physically sick about a change in surroundings. As he walked away, he did turn and give me a smile. He decided he liked school for the first two days but now declares it "dumb, boring and stupid". It seems to be stemming from his brother's lack of love on the playground. We keep encouraging him to play with the 1st graders to no avail. He wants his Piggy.

Abby is soooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOO ready for preschool. I'll tell you all about it next time.

They look so grown up! And soo handsome! Hope school gets less boring, dumb and stupid soon! Miss you!
The last Picture of Carson breaks my heart.
That's sad that Carson gets so nervous about school. I agree with Becky, that last picture is so sad. That girl behind him looks just as excited!
There was this kid in Kate's Kindergarten class that was screaming when his Mom left. Thankfully for his Mom and the teacher he stopped soon after she left. He sits next to Kate too.
Ditto what Becky and Heidi said. I wish I could give Carson a big hug! They both look extremely handsome, I must say!!
What a cute crew. We've had quite a few "nerves" in the office this week. It's such a hard adjustment, but I know Carson will do great. He is such a cutie. Miss you guys :)
