WICKED!!!

OH... MY... OZ! Not to brag or anything, but my husband kicks all your husbands you know what! He suprised me with tickets to WICKED last night for our anniversary. Wa hoo! He arranged a babysitter for the kids (once again, Heather and Kirk, we owe you) and took me out to one of my favorite places to eat. In and Out.

This post is going to blow in my opinion. There's no way to put into words how WICKED AWESOME WICKED was!!! Ahhhh! So good! The Pantages theatre is amazing, the acting, phenominal. But the music, oh the music! "What Is This Feeling?", "Popular", "As Long As Your Mine", "For Good", and my favorite "Defying Gravity". That one was just so...just so...WICKED AWESOME! It ends the first act, but puts off more of a finale vibe. It totally leaves you wanting it never to end. I got choked up, I'm not going to lie to you. Amazing.

So, I just read over this, and I'm just not feeling like I'm getting my point across. It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo (sob, sob, sob) GOOD! If you can go, do! Don't wait, go. Right now, go. You're not going. Go!

Once again, my husband, perfect. WICKED, WICKED AWESOME. If you can go, go. End of story.

~For all you "Phantom" Fans~

~Elphaba & Glinda~Elphaba in Defying Gravity~

Here's a couple of videos of Defying Gravity for you. The first one is a condensed version, it also features the Elphaba we saw last night. The second is the complete version with Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenowith from the original Broadway production. I just wish you could experience what it was really like!

I know, it's sooo good! We went in NY for my 30th birthday two years ago, and it was the highlight of the whole trip for me (except our souvenir that turned into JackE!). I have a picture of me with our Fiyero, who was hotttt. Unfortunately, we missed the whole first half hour because we thought it started later than it did. Rats and double rats there. We felt soo stupid. I'm glad to have a Wicked Friend now. Did you get a t shirt? I got I Heart Oz. It makes me smile every time.

Very cool! Good for your husband! I really like the soundtrack - I tried to read the book, but didn't get very far into it. I've heard great things about the play, though. I'm glad you had a great time!

I want to see this SO bad! I'm glad it didn't disappoint! From what everyone says, it never disappoints. Love me a little Phantom too. Glad you had a good night out. So many options down there, not so up here!

And YUM, In and Out!

Sounds like it was a wonderful surprise for you. I really liked it too. I've gone twice. Once with Julie, Karynne and Debbie, and once with all my girls. Fun stuff

Steve took me for our 15 year this last summer. I was worried it wouldn't live up to the hype, but it totally rocks! I took the girls back in December and met a friend and her daughter for a girls weekend and it still rocks!! That's all we listen to in the car. Glad you loved it too!

So good! For my choir trip we went to California back in April and we saw it. Actually, I wasn't too excited about seeing it but once we got to the theater I couldn't freakin' wait!
