Last week Courtney and Co. were within travel distance. We jumped at the opportunity to go visit them and take advantage of her mom's pool. We spent all day in there. The kids had fun showing off their mad swimming skills (well, not so much my kids as they don't have mad swimming skills, but you should see Avery go)! I found a comfy spot on a raft and lounged there for far too long. Courtney and Choncha kept telling me, "Your getting pink, Brenda". But I was much to relaxed to do anything about it. Short story, short, I got a rather nasty burn on the back of my thighs (that's right sisters, my thighs were sweaty). Sitting and sleeping were a bit uncomfortable for a while. I still maintain it was worth it.

That evening, we went to B.J.'s with all 5 kids. Yes, we are superwomen. I would take 50 kids if it meant I could have avocado egg rolls. Mmmmmm.

The kids had a great time and it was the perfect way to spend the day. Trevor was out of town last week, so any opportunity to distract myself and the kiddos from his absence is welcome. We miss him when he's out there working to pay for my Target addiction. Thanks for the great day Courtney!

Brenda- They have this new invention, its called SUN SCREEN. Try it next time, its really helpful AND it helps prevent some ugly diseases later on. Love you!
I agree with mama Louise! I hate me a good sunburn! OUCH! And taking kids to a restaurant alone is also forbidden for me! Way to go!(do you think I overuse the exclamation marks?!!!!!!!!!!)

We just had a moment of silence ourselves for the poor people at Fresh Choice who had to clean up after Dexter. Boy, that kid can make a mess.
