More Answers Than Questions!!!

We had a great day today. We had an appt. to see Dr. #6 today. All the doctors I've seen work at the same place, but still, it's getting a little ridiculous don't you think? We love Dr. #6. Dr. #6 gave us some pretty fabulous news. It took Dr. #6 about 30 seconds to tell us that the placenta is well out of the way of my cement cervix. He even wrote in my chart "anticipate normal delivery". Those are three of the sweetest words and are we ever anticipating that normal delivery!

~...and 4D. He may have Preston's nose, no?~

The rest of the visit was just plain fun. Because of Preston's congenital heart defect, they wanted to do a fetal echo. Those 4D ultrasound machines are rad. We followed his blood around his little body, down his abdomen, to his kidneys and branching down his little legs. We got a nice glimpse of his...manhood. Doctor #6 declared it "impressive" and Trevor immediately started texting all his friends. Boys will be boys.

~There's something in this smile that reminds me of Carson.~

~His "manhood".~

We got some great shots of his aorta, tricuspid valve, mitral valve, and everything else associated with his heart. Doctor #6 also captured so many sweet pictures of his face (when I find the energy, I'll scan the said pictures and post them). He was even smirking in one. If I had to guess, I would say he has Preston's nose and Carson's chin. We'll see. Like I said, 4D ultrasounds are rad. We even watched and heard him "breathing" in fluid. Crazy.

I don't think it has to be written that we left there pretty giddy. After all the drama of the last 6 months, it's so refreshing and comforting to know that things are finally clicking into place and settling down. So many of our prayers were answered and we are feeling incredibly grateful tonight. A big thank you goes out to everyone who kept us in your thoughts.

As a side note to Megan and Sally, I was chanting to myself all last night and this morning while visualizing my pesky placenta creeping upward. I figured it couldn't hurt!

That is SUCH good news. I'm glad everything turned out well and that you had fun looking at the 3D pix. Those are cool. We had some when I was prego with Preston.

Too bad, we WERE going to let you in the C-section club. It's crazy fun and a party everyday....but whatever.

I know I already posted but NOW you have the ultrasound pictures up. So three things;
1. Are they concerned that his face seems to be melting?
2. What smile, what what what I can't make out that picture at all.
3. I will help him get you back for the "manhood" picture, you won't know where, or when but William and I will get you back. Don't worry buddy Aunt Becky has your back (which maybe is what we are seeing in the 'smile'picture??).

I'm with Becky... I can't see the smile in the 2nd picture. I feel like Rachel from friends. I know you'll get that.

I can totally see the smile, its more like a smirk and its kind of hard to see with the melting face and all, but its there! I'm with you Becky, we'll help William get even with his Mom for "that" picture, how embarrasing!!
